Recycle.

When you've given something wonderful, something special, something unique, something romantic; never ever think that it's the first time he did something like that. Because you're going to be disappointed that IT IS NOT. He might have done that before for quite a number of times. Maybe he's just recycling an old trick that magically worked for others in his past. And maybe you're not that very special to be put on a pedestal and to be treated in a totally different way the way he treats others.

Don't assume. NEVER. If you really want to know if that's his first time to do that, ask him. Well, only if you have some guts to ask. And be ready for what you are about to be heard. You might be disappointed. If not, then you're lucky. Once again, don't expect, don't you ever dare assume.

Yes, I know, you are different. You must not be treated just like anybody else. You must be seen in a totally different light. You must be appreciated like no other. That's just because you are unique and you are wonderful. Now, CUT THAT OFF. Stop expecting that you'll be treated and seen differently. You're just like the other flowers in the garden, different, but still a flower.

Don't expect. Never assume. In this case, you won't get hurt. It's just safest thing to do.
