10 ways to break your girl's heart before your 16th monthsary

10. Forget that it's just three days away.

9. Argue with her.

8. Make her VERY angry and hurt.

7. Tell her you can't love her more.

6. Make her feel unloved.

5. Do everything you know she hates the most.

4-2. Tell her you'll meet her on Monday. Apologize because you can't make it on Monday and promise her you'll see her on Tuesday. On Tuesday, tell her that you will try and if you can't, you'll make it all up to her on Wednesday. Assume that she'll believe you and be mad if she doesn't.

1. Break your long-time promise, her heart, and her trust.

Congratulations! You've just broke your girl's heart BIGTIME. You can now go back to being a self-centered jerk.

betrayed.

Pero ewan, ano bang mali sakin, bakit nya kailangang gawin iyon? Hay.

朋友

Cameron: "If we want this to not get in the way of our friendship, I think we both have to apologize and put it behind us."
Foreman: "I like you, really...we have a good time working together. But ten years from now, we're not gonna be hanging out, having dinners. Maybe we'll exchange Christmas cards, say "Hi," give a hug if we're at the same conference...we're not friends, we're colleagues... and I don't have anything to apologize for."
--Episode 18, Season 2 of House MD

We are friendly creatures. We can't live alone. As the saying goes, "no man is an island." We always search for someone to be with. Someone whom we can share our thoughts, feelings, and emotions with. Someone we can cling to whenever we feel weak. Someone we can call a "friend".

I don't have tons of friends. But I have enough. Enough to know that I can be a real friend too. Enough to be able to fight for them through and through. Enough to stand for them 'til the end of time. Enough to give up my pride and insecurity. And enough to stay and never leave them no matter what.

However, there are some people whom you thought are your real friends. You will fight for them, be by their sides, and stay 'til you can. But one day, sometimes in the toughest circumstances, you'll be dumbfounded that they really don't think of you as a friend.

I am not talking about "user-friendly" here. My point is that no matter how willing you are to do everything for someone, that someone may not even have any willingness to do a thing for you. Ergo, no matter how you treat someone as your friend, that someone may not want to consider you as his/her friend.

A real friend is someone who considers and who treats you as a friend.

But then again, no one can stop us from caring for other people; whether they treat us as their friend or not. Besides, it won't hurt them in any way.

On Valentine's Day

So, now that I have a boyfriend, it isn't Singles' Awareness Day for me anymore; it's Valentine's Day for us--me and Dan. :)

Last year, this was my Feb. 14th blog: My Happy SAD. I was single and, yes, bitter. But now I am happy, just the way I deserve to be. :)

So, how shall I start cheesyness in this blog? Hmm...here...

Since this is our first Valentine's Day, I tried to plan something special. Planning started on the first day of February, I'm not very excited. Kidding. :P I've come up with lots of bright idea but they need a lot of preparation and some budgeting. Unfortunately, I've been very busy the whole two weeks. Also, I ran out of money. :( I know, that's a lame excuse. However, I still came up with "Plan B." On Sunday, February 8th, I made heart-shaped bittersweet chocolates with red chocolate prints on it. Bittersweet/Dark Chocolates are his favorites, actually, our faves! :)

I really do :)

It's not easy to do this but because I love him, I tried my best.

What's great about this chocolates is that it can mean two things, one is that I love him, and the other one is that he loves me. :)

However, we both know that we will not be able to spend our first Valentine's Day together. February 14th is also my lola's birthday and I, together with my family and relatives, have go to Pampanga. So we--Dan and I--planned to have a pre-valentine date/s instead. :)

February 11th, Wednesday, PBA Cup's Finals. He really wanted to watch this on Araneta Coliseum. After my classes, 2:30pm, we decided to go there. But we dropped at Gilmore first because he has stuff to buy there. By 4:00pm, we were in Cubao, unfortunately, tickets are already sold out except for "standing." Since he doesn't want that, we went to Gateway, had dinner, watched a movie, and played at Timezone instead.

He's really sad. :(

But I'm here to make him happy. :)

His "takaw" pic. :P

My turn for the "takaw" pic. :))

Movie tickets of "Marley and Me." We both enjoyed and love the movie, except that he wished, Marley's a cat. Hehe.

At Timezone, he's good at drums, I'm not. He got lucky at Deal or No Deal, I did not. He's also good in playing Tekken, I am not (yet). He taught me to play basketball, I screwed a bit. Haha! Anyways, we enjoyed playing together. :)

February 13th, Friday, woke up very early, tried to look my best / made myself beautiful (haha). 6:00 am, I was calling him but he's not answering it, obviously, he's still asleep. 7:00 am, he texted me, I called him again and told him to get up and get ready because I'm on my way and we will have breakfast at McDonald's Philcoa. He sounded happy and amused; of course, he didn't expected something like that, oh, for some reasons, he'll never expect that from me. Hehe. Because I know that it took him at least an hour to bathe and gussy up, I waited for an hour before leaving. At about 9:00 am, I was already at McDo but he's still not there. He came after 10 minutes, then we ordered our food. And then, he left, I thought that he's just looking for honey at the counter; but when he showed up, he has a honey AND a pink long-stemmed rose in his hands. *blush*

I love pink and I love rose. I really love it! :)

Cheers to more Valentine's Day to come for us! :)

By 10:00 am, we're at SLIS, we manned the LovapaLISSA Booth, and had our lunch there.

Sir Igor took this pic. Thanks, sir! :)

From 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, I was at my classes. After all my classes, I went at Educ Lib to help him in his data gathering for his thesis. Then we went to Sunken Garden to hang out with Marj, Von, Hazel, and Charm. We also had food trip with them: grilled sweet corn, quail eggs/kwek-kwek, and dirty ice cream. :D They left at around 9:00 pm.

Charm and Hazel

Marj and Von

Dan and me

And because we both have our laptop with us, we've decided to leave it at his boarding house for the mean time and get it when we have to go home. Then, we went to Ate Amy's kiosk to eat pancit canton. Hehe. :D Afterwards, we've decided to go inside the fair since we really have tickets for the Loverage 3. By 11:00 pm, the line was still long and almost not moving because there's still a lot of people inside and they can't accommodate more of that. 12:00 am we were still outside, the fireworks display began.

The fireworks was okay. Sorry, but I did expect more than that. It's not that bad to expect more, is it? Oh well, we have different points of view. :)

After that, Bamboo was on the stage and we were still outside! :| Then some of the people outside, we call them JJs (jumping jologs), started to throw rocks inside the fair and in the fence. They really wanted to break in and no one was able to stop them. Okay, enough said, I don't want to rant about it here. We were able to get inside by 12:15 am. We strolled around the fair ground and saw some friends. I was not able to take more pictures when we were inside because my camera's battery got empty. At 1:00 am, the organizers' cancelled the concert because of the unstoppable intrusion by the JJs outside. By then, there's still a lot of people inside, but I've insisted to go out and go home. There's no more jeepneys inside the campus and it's hard to fetch a cab; my feet really hurt and I was so tired and sleepy. We stopped and took some rest from walking at the Eng'g Steps. 2:00 am, we decided to go back to his boarding house to get my stuff and then he took me home.

When we reached my house, I gave him my valentine gift, the chocolates that I've made. :) Although he's not that totally surprised, because my sister is such a big mouth to tell him that I've made chocolates for him, he's still happy with what I gave him. :) BTW, my two sisters went to Pampanga already, without me. :( Which means I can spend my Valentine's day here. However, Dan has to go home already to Laguna with his brother, who attended the fair last night. Yeah, we still can't be together on our first Valentine's Day. :( But it's fine, we're able to be together from 12:00 am to 2:00 am of February 14th. :)

Got up from bed at around 11:00 am. Wasn't able to attend LISSA's rummage sale, sorry guys. I know, my "sorry" can't do anything and I don't think I have a valid reason for not attending, but I'm really sorry.

So, what am I doing this Valentine's Day? I am watching House! Hehe. :D

Hey Dan! I love you so much! I want to tell you a lot of stuff here, but nevermind, I'll tell it to you personally when we meet again. :) I miss you a lot! xoxo

Friday the 13th

Here I am, welcoming the luckiest day of the year. Thinking of wonderful memories it might give me. Hoping for the best.

However, I wonder why I have to go downstairs and enjoy five-minute CR break twice. As far as I can remember, I've eaten nothing that will cause me this.

Okay, I'm just being sarcastic, again.

Did I just said it's Friday the 13th today? Oh my! *sarcasm is my nature* Anyway, I don't want to google it's origin for now. Maybe later, or tomorrow, or never. Kidding. Yeah, maybe later, after I finish what I'm suppose to do right now rather than blogging, writing on my journal, plurking, playing Pet Society at Facebook, watching House, playing The Sims 2, playing Farm Frenzy 2 and sleeping. Okay, I was joking. Actually, no, because it's not funny. I'm just blogging, exclude the rest.

I'm not really superstitious, but please, I can't afford to have a bad day today. Though I have a marathon of classes from 1-7pm, I have to, want to, and will enjoy the Loverage 3 with Dan later. I won't be here tomorrow, which means we will not be able to spend our first Valentine's day together. :( So please, I want to be happy! :D And yeah, this LBM is enough to be unlucky. Ugh.

Saturday, January 10, 2009

Another lovely day :)

Today, even if I have headache, colds and dysmenorrhea :-&, I still accompanied Dan this afternoon to SM North, to buy a gift for his parents' 23rd anniversary on the 12th. When we got there, we had diet lunch at BreadTalk. Hehe.

Beckham and Cheese, Tuna Sandwich, Spicy Tuna Sisig, Berry Bread

Us at BreadTalk. :D

Then we're off to finding gift for his parents. We came up with different gift ideas. But unfortunately, those gifts are needed to be done in seven working days and that'll be too late for the anniv. Then we went to Netopia to edit a pic of his 'rents into a photo-text mosaic. But it didn't worked too. :( Just when we're about to give up on buying a gift, we've decided to try Unique Idea's stall for a clock with his parents picture as a background.

There, after the clock was made, I suggested that we should have it gift-wrapped. He said that he'll just buy a paper bag for that and of course, I disagreed. :P I insisted that I'll gift-wrap it myself.
Haha. Pakialamera me. :P On our way to NBS, we saw an ad about UPTOWN 21, a new residencial/commercial building in QC, near UP. I'm not sure if it's located at UP's property land; well, maybe not. :| BTW, here's the site: www.uptown21.com.ph. We bought supplies at NBS. While I was looking for gift wrappers and other stuff, I saw him walking behind me, holding a huge card; a note on it says "You're the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on!". Of course I was amused and touched by it. :''> We're walking all around the store, him holding the card while following me; and I just can't help but smile and blush. Oh yes, he's the sweetest thing ever! And I'm so blessed that he's mine. :) Then, we headed to KFC (The Block) to have merienda and also to wrap the gift. Hehe.

I did the wrapping! ^_^

Us at KFC. :)

Afterwards, we went to the Department Store to buy earphones for his brother. Let me share a funny thing that happened to us in there, we went inside the store, took an escalator down another floor and realized that's we should not.
Me: "Bakit tayo bumaba?"
Dan: "Ewan ko."
Me: "Hindi naman dito yun diba?"
Dan: "Oo nga."
We couldn't help but just laugh at ourselves that time. Haha. We usually have tameme moments whenever we're together. Funny thing but it gives us both that kilig feeling. :''>

On our way home, we took same jeepney ride, but we're about to go down on different stops; him at Central and me at Don Antonio. We talked while on the ride. Then the jeep passed on Central and we had another tameme moment. Haha!
Me: "O, Central na yun ahh."
Dan: "Oo nga e."
Me: "Bakit di ka bumaba?"
Dan: "Ewan ko nga rin e."
Looked like he doesn't want to leave me yet. Hehe. :''> He went down at Tandang Sora and walked to UP instead. Aww, poor him, natatameme kasi e. Hehe. :P

By this time, he's now at their home in Laguna, eating pizza with his parents while texting me. Hehe. :) I just love this day with him. Of course, I love each day that we spent together. :) And I'm looking forward for more days to come that we will spend with each other. :''> I love him so much. I know I'm cheesy, who cares, I love it anyway! Haha! :)

PS: Look at the moon tonight, it's big and bright. It's the brightest for this year according to PAGASA. ;)

Libreng Bigas

"The rice you donate makes a huge difference to the person who receives it. According to the United Nations, about 25,000 people die each day from hunger or hunger-related causes, most of them children. Though 20 grains of rice may seem like a small amount, it is important to remember that while you are playing, so are thousands of other people at the same time. It is everyone together that makes the difference. Thanks to you, FreeRice has generated enough rice to feed more than two million people since it started in October 2007."

I got to know this site from Dan. When I saw it, I found it really cool. If you're bored and hooked up in the net, try this site. You're not just getting away from boredom, you're also learning and helping. :)

The site offers different subjects (Art, Chemistry, English, Geography, Language Learning, and Math) that suits your interest/forte.

I think I'm going to add this up on my New Year's Resolution, I must donate at least 1000 grains of rice a day. :)

Holiday Vacation

We spend our Christmas in Pampanga every year and New Year here in QC. But this holiday vacation, we got to spend both only in Pampanga. It was our (me and my sibs) first time to celebrate our New Year there. I must admit, it's better there. :)

I almost thought that we won't spend our holiday there, kamusta naman kasi, 23 na noon, di pa kami nakakaalis. We left at around 4pm on the 24th, and yes of course, it's traffic. Before we left, I texted my dad that we won't be able to come for some reasons. It's obvious in his text messages that he's very sad. On our way there, we're still texting him, that we'll be spending our Christmas at my aunt's house, that they can't also come, that we promise to spend our next Christmas there, blah blah blah. We got there by 9pm, and my tita texted him that she's already there (alone) and she needs them to fetch her by boat. We hid in his store and surprised him! Hehe. Hmm, that's almost what he/they did to me on my 18th birthday. Haha!

I am so happy that we spent our Christmas altogether (of course, we are all). :) It was fun as always. 2007's Christmas was different, not better, just different. Last year's was missing something that I can't figure out what and I'm sure, almost everyone in the world, or at least in the country, felt the same way too. But then again, happiness is an option and we opted for it. :)

We were supposed to go back home on the 26th but they insisted that we should stay there to celebrate our New Year with them and our dad since mom's not yet home. i just can't do anything but to stay, of course, I also want to. Hehe. I texted my mom if we could spend our New Year in Pampanga and she allowed us. :)

This new year's eve is better than last year's. Last year, we're not with our mom nor with our dad. Sure we have lots of food for media noche and fireworks/firecrackers, but we're not that happy because we were not with those we love the most (our parents). Kahit may krisis, kapag kasama mo ang mga mahal mo sa buhay, magiging masaya pa rin kayo. :)

This holiday vacation brought me lots of realizations, fun times, and bonding moments with my dad, my sibs and my relatives. I'm glad we've stayed there for the whole vacation. I've missed a lot here in QC and surely, I'll be missing a lot there in Pampanga. Vacation's really over and I have to face my life here again. But I'm looking forward to Valentine's day because we'll be visiting there again to celebrate my Lola's birthday. Yay! I'm excited! :D
