Another lovely day :)

Today, even if I have headache, colds and dysmenorrhea :-&, I still accompanied Dan this afternoon to SM North, to buy a gift for his parents' 23rd anniversary on the 12th. When we got there, we had diet lunch at BreadTalk. Hehe.

Beckham and Cheese, Tuna Sandwich, Spicy Tuna Sisig, Berry Bread

Us at BreadTalk. :D

Then we're off to finding gift for his parents. We came up with different gift ideas. But unfortunately, those gifts are needed to be done in seven working days and that'll be too late for the anniv. Then we went to Netopia to edit a pic of his 'rents into a photo-text mosaic. But it didn't worked too. :( Just when we're about to give up on buying a gift, we've decided to try Unique Idea's stall for a clock with his parents picture as a background.

There, after the clock was made, I suggested that we should have it gift-wrapped. He said that he'll just buy a paper bag for that and of course, I disagreed. :P I insisted that I'll gift-wrap it myself.
Haha. Pakialamera me. :P On our way to NBS, we saw an ad about UPTOWN 21, a new residencial/commercial building in QC, near UP. I'm not sure if it's located at UP's property land; well, maybe not. :| BTW, here's the site: www.uptown21.com.ph. We bought supplies at NBS. While I was looking for gift wrappers and other stuff, I saw him walking behind me, holding a huge card; a note on it says "You're the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on!". Of course I was amused and touched by it. :''> We're walking all around the store, him holding the card while following me; and I just can't help but smile and blush. Oh yes, he's the sweetest thing ever! And I'm so blessed that he's mine. :) Then, we headed to KFC (The Block) to have merienda and also to wrap the gift. Hehe.

I did the wrapping! ^_^

Us at KFC. :)

Afterwards, we went to the Department Store to buy earphones for his brother. Let me share a funny thing that happened to us in there, we went inside the store, took an escalator down another floor and realized that's we should not.
Me: "Bakit tayo bumaba?"
Dan: "Ewan ko."
Me: "Hindi naman dito yun diba?"
Dan: "Oo nga."
We couldn't help but just laugh at ourselves that time. Haha. We usually have tameme moments whenever we're together. Funny thing but it gives us both that kilig feeling. :''>

On our way home, we took same jeepney ride, but we're about to go down on different stops; him at Central and me at Don Antonio. We talked while on the ride. Then the jeep passed on Central and we had another tameme moment. Haha!
Me: "O, Central na yun ahh."
Dan: "Oo nga e."
Me: "Bakit di ka bumaba?"
Dan: "Ewan ko nga rin e."
Looked like he doesn't want to leave me yet. Hehe. :''> He went down at Tandang Sora and walked to UP instead. Aww, poor him, natatameme kasi e. Hehe. :P

By this time, he's now at their home in Laguna, eating pizza with his parents while texting me. Hehe. :) I just love this day with him. Of course, I love each day that we spent together. :) And I'm looking forward for more days to come that we will spend with each other. :''> I love him so much. I know I'm cheesy, who cares, I love it anyway! Haha! :)

PS: Look at the moon tonight, it's big and bright. It's the brightest for this year according to PAGASA. ;)

Libreng Bigas

"The rice you donate makes a huge difference to the person who receives it. According to the United Nations, about 25,000 people die each day from hunger or hunger-related causes, most of them children. Though 20 grains of rice may seem like a small amount, it is important to remember that while you are playing, so are thousands of other people at the same time. It is everyone together that makes the difference. Thanks to you, FreeRice has generated enough rice to feed more than two million people since it started in October 2007."

I got to know this site from Dan. When I saw it, I found it really cool. If you're bored and hooked up in the net, try this site. You're not just getting away from boredom, you're also learning and helping. :)

The site offers different subjects (Art, Chemistry, English, Geography, Language Learning, and Math) that suits your interest/forte.

I think I'm going to add this up on my New Year's Resolution, I must donate at least 1000 grains of rice a day. :)

Holiday Vacation

We spend our Christmas in Pampanga every year and New Year here in QC. But this holiday vacation, we got to spend both only in Pampanga. It was our (me and my sibs) first time to celebrate our New Year there. I must admit, it's better there. :)

I almost thought that we won't spend our holiday there, kamusta naman kasi, 23 na noon, di pa kami nakakaalis. We left at around 4pm on the 24th, and yes of course, it's traffic. Before we left, I texted my dad that we won't be able to come for some reasons. It's obvious in his text messages that he's very sad. On our way there, we're still texting him, that we'll be spending our Christmas at my aunt's house, that they can't also come, that we promise to spend our next Christmas there, blah blah blah. We got there by 9pm, and my tita texted him that she's already there (alone) and she needs them to fetch her by boat. We hid in his store and surprised him! Hehe. Hmm, that's almost what he/they did to me on my 18th birthday. Haha!

I am so happy that we spent our Christmas altogether (of course, we are all). :) It was fun as always. 2007's Christmas was different, not better, just different. Last year's was missing something that I can't figure out what and I'm sure, almost everyone in the world, or at least in the country, felt the same way too. But then again, happiness is an option and we opted for it. :)

We were supposed to go back home on the 26th but they insisted that we should stay there to celebrate our New Year with them and our dad since mom's not yet home. i just can't do anything but to stay, of course, I also want to. Hehe. I texted my mom if we could spend our New Year in Pampanga and she allowed us. :)

This new year's eve is better than last year's. Last year, we're not with our mom nor with our dad. Sure we have lots of food for media noche and fireworks/firecrackers, but we're not that happy because we were not with those we love the most (our parents). Kahit may krisis, kapag kasama mo ang mga mahal mo sa buhay, magiging masaya pa rin kayo. :)

This holiday vacation brought me lots of realizations, fun times, and bonding moments with my dad, my sibs and my relatives. I'm glad we've stayed there for the whole vacation. I've missed a lot here in QC and surely, I'll be missing a lot there in Pampanga. Vacation's really over and I have to face my life here again. But I'm looking forward to Valentine's day because we'll be visiting there again to celebrate my Lola's birthday. Yay! I'm excited! :D
